A friend and I were talking about how life happens right in front of you. I live in California, and on live TV we watched a gas main blow up in the middle of a quiet neighborhood, killing people and wreaking havoc. We were horrified. This could happen to you, your friends or your family. It was national news for 3 or 4 days and front page news locally for a couple of weeks, inspiring people to want to help. But once the hype died down, so did the contributions.

The problem is that there are still families and struggling spouses and children of the people who died, with no way to make ends meet. We realized that most people see what's happening when it's right in front of them, but forget when it's not on the news and not top of mind. We decided to do something about it. We've paired existing technology with the ability to let people choose the charity of their choice to share with their friends, family, readership and followers. We hope you'll participate and help drive donations to the charity of your choice.
